The Panoramic Frattura
Frattura consists of one main street and all its houses look at the Scanno Lake. I think that living there is a great aesthetic delight along with tranquility, solitude, fresh air and fine ecology. In short it is an ideal place for spiritual practice or downshifting. On the other hand, living there could be a real challenge, especially in winter. According to Wikipedia, in winter there live only 23-25 people! Despite this fact the place doesn’t at all look abandoned or neglected. Quite the contrary, uniform stone houses have a very solid and orderly look.
On the picture you can see the houses of Frattura against a background of the opposite mountainous shore of the Scanno Lake.
